No. Lesson Lineup is an independent product with no connection to MyMusicStaff. Their name appears on this page only so teachers comparing the two can see the differences without opening twelve tabs.
How much cheaper is Lesson Lineup than MyMusicStaff?
For one teacher, $16.95 against $6.99 a month for the first twelve billed months (sign up on or before 25 December 2026), then $9.99: $119.52 less over the founder year and $83.52 a year less after it. Their price as read from their pricing page in September 2026.
Who should not switch from MyMusicStaff to Lesson Lineup?
Studios with more than one teacher, anyone whose families book, cancel or pay through the Student Portal, and anyone who needs online payments, calendar sync, emailed invoices or a built-in website. Lesson Lineup has none of those.
Can Lesson Lineup import my MyMusicStaff data?
No. Only expenses import from CSV. There is no importer for students, families, lesson history or balances from MyMusicStaff or any other product — setting up is typing it in, and the switching guide says how long that takes and when in the term to do it.
Does MyMusicStaff have a free plan?
Not as of September 2026: their pricing page lists one paid plan with a 30-day free trial and a 90-day money-back guarantee. Lesson Lineup has no free plan either — a 30-day trial with no card, then $6.99 a month.
